GlobalText.org is founded by Paul Lephare and a multidisciplinary team of translators, interpreters and copywriters.

Paul, originally French, began his study of language in the UK where he earned a BA in English and Arabic before graduating with an MA in Linguistics in Holland.
Soon after graduating, Paul moved to The Hague and worked on a broad mix of translation, transcription and interpretation work for governmental and NGO bodies.
Today, Paul works as a freelance translator and writes for GlobalText as a labour of love. He and his team of passionate linguists focus on the translation, transcription, language learning and copyrighting industries, as well as anything interesting they uncover in the world of global languages.
The mission of the blog is to make the world a smaller place, to give readers a comprehensive summary of the best language and translation services online and to have some fun along the way. We want you to feel like a local in whatever language you wish to communicate in.
When not working on the site, Paul can be found walking on his local beach with his golden retriever, Ludo, or playing backgammon with friends at his local cafe.
